Carol Chapel, longtime Benton County resident and well-known Benton County artist, is having a retrospective exhibition of her work in the Museum's Moreland Gallery titled, "Up To Now: 40 + Years with Carol Chapel". Carol has been exhibiting her paintings and drawings since 1959 in Kansas, Oklahoma, California, Indiana, Canada and Oregon. Since 1975, her work has been included in numerous regional exhibitions, including Art about Agriculture at Oregon State University, the Corvallis Art Center's Around Oregon Annual, and she will be joining 3 other artists for an exhibit at the Jacobs Gallery in Eugene in June 2010. She is represented by Pegasus Gallery in Corvallis, Oregon. Carol's subjects include figurative work as well as images of the natural world: birds, rodents, and flowers.

"Up To Now" opened on Friday, October 30, 2009, with a reception for the artist from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Moreland Auditorium. The exhibition ran through January 8, 2010.
