aMUSEments was a thematic show that illustrated the some fun artifacts from the Society's collections. Many of these artifacts had not been seen by the public since the Horner Museum at Oregon State University closed in 1993.Themes within this exhibition included Oregon native A.C. Gilbert, "Construction Zone", Corvallis' "Woodcock Doll House", mechanical wind-up toys, pull toys, dolls, games, trains, outdoor recreation, puzzles, puppets, "miniatures", books and more!

With generous support from the Sampler Consortium, BCHS presented "Samplers International: A World of Needlework", showcasing historical and contemporary samplers from United States, Mexico, England, Scotland, France, and Scandinavia that were stitched between 1747 and 2011.

Oregon State University Archives and Benton County Museum presented an exhibition of historical photographs from the OSU, Horner Museum and BCHS collections at the Moreland Auditorium from June 10-July 30, 2011. Represented were nearly one hundred photographs and biographical highlights of over two dozen Oregon photographers and photo studios that date prior to World War One.

During the month of September, Benton County, Oregon becomes Quilt County, presenting simultaneous quilt exhibitions in venues throughout Corvallis and Philomath. Our exhibition will feature Rocky Mountain Road / New York Beauty quilts from The Volckening Collection.
