Free, family-friendly educational fun offered monthly beginning in January 2020. Kids Day at the Philomath Museum brings history to life through storytelling, exhibit scavenger hunts, and fun hands-on activities. Kids Days are for children ages 5-10, their families and friends to explore the new exhibit through engaging activities offered by museum education volunteers and community partners. Storytelling begins at 1pm and 2pm and is made possible thanks to the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library. Come explore, learn, and make meaningful connections together!
See how the feeling of jazz is captured in art! We know music has rhythm and movement. Do you know art can also show rhythm and movement by using lines, dots, patterns, zig zags, and spirals? Learn how to create your own art that shows rhythm and movement. Hear stories about music and listen to samples of different sounds of instruments.
Storytelling begins at 1pm and 2pm and is made possible thanks to the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.
